At first, the people who saved the two dogs told me the male dog was spoken for, but then they poached my page and knew I’d spoil him rotten. They let me have him. I was so sad that Murfee didn’t fill the void my other dog left behind. I was naive to think he could. Murfee waited for me to be ready. Now, we have the best relationship. I’m so grateful to him for teaching me how to open my heart to another dog. 💙
