More: Nemo was bred to be a service dog but fate would have other plans. He was born with a deformed right, front leg and paw and was determined not to be capable. Nemo would disagree if he could speak. A setback to him was a blessing and fateful miracle to us. We had lost our previous Golden 13mo before and coincidentally had to have his front right leg amputated due to cancer. A friend had heard about Nemo and referred us to them and the rest is history. We adopted him at 15 weeks. He rescued us. We did not name him by the way, his breeder did and we felt it was PERECT.
