More: Nika is a former bait dog in a large dog fighting operation in California, she is covered in scars, most of her teeth were snapped off and her ear canal was severed inside her head so it had to be removed. She was rescued from the fighting ring when she was 3 years old, she is now 9 years old. She is a certified Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog who works with Autistic Children and Seniors with Dementia.
