More: Niki was a true water dog! Thanks to her Orvis life preserver, she was able to swim in her last years. She would relax and let the waves carry her to shore .. after she had retrieved her orange dummy! Here she is in Lake Michigan. We live on the shores of the lake. She would wake us in the morning during summer with the hope we could take her to the lake!!
