More: Nikki was diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and given three to six months to live. Thanks to the Michigan State University Veterinary Cancer Center and her strong will to live, she had an active life swimming in Indian Lake, chasing squirrels, and playing fetch for over six years. Her body was given to the University for cancer research to help other dogs fight this awful disease.
