More: Our boy Nokona is named after the Comanche meaning for He Who Wanders & Returns. Koney dog (as we often call him) did just that. We have hours of frisbee and beach footage and photos with his many ball runs. I have a million wonderful shots I could have included. We sadly lost our boy this past December. It was the worst. He lost his battle with a rare brain tumor. It grew fast and hard. We were treating him at home and he was set to go into radiation, but sadly couldn’t after too many seizures. He fought and made it through emergency surgery. We had a wonderful team of docs from Michigan to Toledo, Columbus and Cinci. We know how important cancer research is. We received the care that allowed us to say goodbye to our boy over his last month. Everyone should have that care until we can find the cures.
