More: As I reflect on this last year the highlight, without a doubt, has been adding Oakley to my family. I used to judge dog moms, until I got Oakley, then I understood how a dog could truly become your best friend. He has filled my life with light this past year despite the hardships life has thrown my direction. Oakley and I go for a walk outside every single day, even during the most bitter, Wisconsin, winter days. If there is water, whether it be near freezing or a giant mud puddle, you can bet he will be in it. He has helped me learn patience, forced me to get outside and enjoy the sunrise, and to accept dog hair on everything! I feel so blessed to join the crazy dog mom club.
