More: Orvis was dumped in our neighborhood in June. After searching for his owner for weeks, I decided that I would give him a home with me. Before he met my boys I wanted to give him a name so they didn’t name him Spotty or Oreo- names young boys would name a black and white spotted dog. My friend who found him had put his dogs collar on the stray. His dogs name embroidered on the pink color was Gracie- however the brand name Orvis was on the clasp. So we kept it and fell in love with him. He kayaks, camps, jet ski’s, hikes, swims, digs, runs, trick or treats, and sleeps on the bed with his two boys. He goes anywhere we do- he’s perfect for us and we always smile at his name- and how it’s in most of his accessories!
