More: Paco is my 14 year old rescue Chihuahua. He has been with me for 11 years and is an IVDD survivor. He has been through his disc disease, slipping patellas, 14 missing teeth, large gallstones, kidney disease, and we discovered my “ apparently neutered chihuahua “ is not so neutered. MRI shows both testicles are retained. Three years ago he suffered a severe disc herniation resulting in near paralysis. He had ventral slot surgery to remove the offending disc and remains to be the happiest of boys. He is the friendliest, happiest, and the toughest little man.
