More: Panda is a rescue who we adopted last year after losing our 6 year old Pitbull mix, Gatsby, to cancer. We lost Gatsby very suddenly to a cancer we didn't even know he had. I also lost my Mom to Pancreatic Cancer and Gatsby was a gift that she had given to me prior to her passing. Sometimes I think Panda knows how much I struggle with the grief and loss of both Gatsby and my Mom. He has been raised during the pandemic, so he's had lots of time with us as a family. He loves to burrow under the covers on our bed, go for walks, watch the birds, snuggle and be a lapdog. I think that Panda is a gift from heaven.
