More: We drove for two days the day after Christmas to rescue 5 month old Pax from a humane society in Indiana. She is named after a town we passed through on the way home. She never lived up to her name (Latin for Peace). Pax has a liver disease and may not be with us much longer, but she still loves to catch snowballs in the winter.
