More: Peanut appeared at our lake country front door. He weighed 3lb 5oz, was emaciated and covered in sores. He had survived somehow in the wild in spite of foxes, coyotes, eagles, and osprey! After 6 months of care and good nutrition he recovered as this photo shows. He loves walks, chasing birds and lying in a sunny spot in our great outdoors.
