More: Pearl was a gift from my husband. We searched for her after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She was our symbol of hope. Unfortunately, my husband lost his battle with the disease. Pearl has turned into the perfect combination of sporting dog and companion. She loves to hunt with my son and grandsons and also enjoys a good snuggle and nap with the grands! She is the perfect traveler--an all around true Orvis dog!
