More: We rescued Pearl, her Mother was scheduled to be euthanized a few days before giving birth to nine puppies. Luckily, mom was rescued and she was saved. I was still trying to recover from the loss of my beloved dog of almost 15 years, but was starting to think I was ready. We inquired about her but were told she was adopted. We found another puppy, were leaving to get her, when we found out that little Pearl was returned because she cried too much. So, needless to say, we now have two little loves that we are so grateful for. Pearl lives in the Keys now, spends her days hunting lizards, boating, running the sandbars and generally loving everyone and life ❤️
