More: I rescued Pen when she was 4 months old and 29 pounds. She is now 3 years old and 85 pounds. I was told they bark all the time. I don't know what makes her different but I can count on 1 hand the number of times she's barked since I rescued her. However, she does shed as much as they said. In fact, she shed's so much I can actually fashion and entire dog on my patio after I finish her first brushing in the spring. How can one dog shed so much! No matter I love her with all my heart and my vacuum cleaner has become a permanent visual fixture in my home. People ask me why my vacuum is out and I point at Pen. No further explanation needed!
