More: Penny protects our small Pennsylvania farm (and a few neighboring properties!). She herds chickens, protects our barn cats, races our horses and watched out for the little boys who live next door. She also alerts us when coyotes, fisher cats and other predators come onto the property. Her best friends are a great blue heron that visits our pond, and our West Highland White Terrier Max. Penny also gives people standing hugs (up on her hind legs).
