More: Farmer Penny is a one of a kind dog. She is the sweetest, most loving, beautiful, intelligent girl. She was a rescue out of Kentucky, and ended up with us in New York, although we’ve now moved permanently to Indiana. When we got her she’d just had a litter of puppies in the shelter before she was even 1. She was a bit of a hot mess, she lost most of her fur, and took a while to adjust to her new life out of the shelter. Since then, Penny continues to surprise us every single day with her skill out on the farm, her agility and intelligence, the way she watches and learns the animals and how they work, how they move. She’s incredible. She does have to have a couple minutes each morning to get her zoomies out, and then after that she takes her job very seriously. Her absolute favorite part of the job is supervising the new calves born. Farmer Penny is the very best of the best out there, I’m sure of it!
