More: The only two girls in a litter of eight mini dachshunds, Penny and Piper hail from a family owned dachshund farm located just outside Canton, Texas. After the passing of our 14-year-old family dog, a spontaneous (or probably to most ‘totally on par’) decision was made to visit the farm and adopt a new puppy who would in turn continue our family legacy of mini dachshunds. On our trek back home to Dallas, we rode in awe with not one but two 9-week-old mini dachshunds. It was at this moment we realized the obvious, these two are simply inseparable.
