More: My wife and I bought Pete and brought him home when he was 6 weeks old. He had made his first retrieve less than one week later. I took him to Kansas with me on a little guide work, he did extremely well for not even being 2 years old. Tragically the December of 2017 he broke out of his kennel while we were both at work and got struck on the highway. The most incredible working dog I have ever had the chance to love like a Son.
