More: Petey is one of two Biewer/Yorkies that we acquired from a breeder and they are both “giants” for their breed. Petey is over 16 pounds and looks more like a Biewer, while Ollie is 22 pounds (long legs) and looks more like a traditional Yorkie but his wisdom DNA is 75% Biewer and 25% traditional yorkie while Pete’s DNA is more traditional yorkie than Biewer. Just the opposite of what you would expect! Both are amazing and love to play fetch and catch balls in the air!!! They are “giants” physically, but mentally they are both like tiny yorkies. They need toys and cuddles and snuggles!
