More: Piper is a rescue. She rescued us after we lost our last dog. She may or may not have destroyed two of our sofas due to some separation anxiety when we first adopted her. We didn’t give up on her, and it was so worth it. She now is the unofficial therapy dog/office assistant at my office. She greets clients coming in for counseling and has bonded with some special clients who have autism. She loves everyone and is so smart. Some of her favorite activities are high-giving, getting treats and going for hikes.
