More: Piper is a rescue dog - I found her through an organization called Mutts4Rescue that helps find homes for stray and unwanted dogs. Not much is known about Piper's past other than she was found being thrown out of a van on the side of the road somewhere in the South. She is a sweet, mild-tempered dog who loves the outdoors. If she's not hiking, running on the beach, or scratching her back on sunburnt grass, she's staring out the window watching for wildlife.
