More: Ramona was an accidental rescue. I went to deliver some stuffed toys to our local rescue and was invited to meet her. After much investigation we took her home a few days later. Her story was that at 7 months old she was living under a truck in southeast Texas. The local dog catcher had promised the rescue people there that he was going to shoot her but she was so fast he wasn’t able to. The rescue got her and put her on a Transport to Long Island NY and to us . She truly dodged a Bullet .
