More: Ranger is a husky mix found as a stray on the border of Texas and Mexico and dropped off at a high kill shelter. Luckily the SPCA of Connecticut took him and transported him to their no kill shelter, where his new mom fell in love immediately and adopted him. He is a pandemic dog spending his first winter in the northeast and loving it! Three months in and the adventures have continued, with four backpacking trips under his belt. He loves hikes and the backpacking and camping life, even carrying his own pack! He has heterochromia eyes - one blue and one hazel and a red and white coat, so he looks like a red wolf dog or mistaken for a fox.
