More: Raya works with me at Ruby Springs Lodge, a fishing and hunting lodge based in Alder, MT. Raya has become well known on the Big Hole, Beaverhead, Jefferson and Madison Rivers amongst the fly fishing and guide community. She sits atop my cooler and watches for birds, and licks the trout before being released. At 16 months, Raya has already lead multiple upland bird hunts at Ruby Springs Lodge, holding points and solid retrieves. As a 44 year old river guide with over 24 years of professional experience, I can truly say Raya is the best boat dog and hunting guide I have ever had the honor of knowing.
