More: Remi, Oliver, and Calvin were all adopted from a rescue in Gunnison, Colorado. Their father and I met when he came to the rescue to adopt Oliver. I was volunteering that day at the shelter and approved the adoption. He later adopted my foster dog, Remi. We are one big family but miss our boy Calvin. Calvin passed away in September 2020 to kidney failure after a long, strong battle.
