More: Remington is the best family dog ever, and he himself is a cancer survivor. Last year, he underwent a grueling course of radiation, and he was stoic throughout treatment. We are so grateful for the advances in canine cancer treatment that saved our sweet guy. Remington is gentle and kind - he is friends with everyone from the wild rabbits in the yard, to my sister’s rambunctious young dog, to my somewhat aloof senior cat. Most importantly, Remmy is a loyal, loving companion who has been an incredible support to our family this year when we lost a family member to cancer. We could not have made it through the year without Remington.
