More: Remus was 70 lbs and very scared when I mer him in the animal shelter in 2019. The volunteer told me it was might be tough trying to get him out of the kennel. I spent about 45 minutes with him, walked him and gave him treats. When it was time to take him back to the kennel he laid his head on my legs. Well, I too him home 3 days later. He likes to take me on walks, gallop around the yard and do zoonoses in the living room. He ate the couch the first year I had him. He’s over that now, thank goodness. That was an expensive chew toy😉. I don’t have to set the house alarm anymore. Excellent watch dog. He’s still a little timid around new people but he’s getting much better.
