More: Our family adopted Riley in 2014 from Northeast Coonhound Rescue and he has joined us on our many outdoor expeditions all over New England and in particular on Mount Desert Island in Maine. We call him 'handsome but goofy'- our sweet, majestic, wonderful boy. We lost Riley to cancer in 2021 at age 10. We carry his spirit and energy with us on every one of our hikes and outdoor adventures. His joy of the outdoors is palpable in this photo and captures his essence.
