More: Our family adopted Riley in 2014 from Northeast Coonhound Rescue and he has joined us on our many outdoor expeditions all over New England and in particular on Mount Desert Island in Maine. We call him 'handsome but goofy'- our sweet, majestic, wonderful boy. We lost Riley to cancer in 2021 at age 10. As a hound, he was not much of a swimmer, but was a Very Regal Wader! We carry Riley's spirit and energy with us on every one of our hikes and outdoor adventures.
