He is especially thrilled when children come running up the ramp to play with him . He is a fabulous, powerful swimmer, River will swim out to retrieve his dummy and drop it at your feet, he'll retrieve two or three times and then he goes on strike and sits next to you with a look that suggests that YOU should retrieve the dummy yourself......he's already done his work! His favorite day on the water includes sitting on his boat so he can scan the bay for interesting sitings. River is a cuddly" throw pillow" of a big dog who never misses an opportunity to show you how much he loves you!
