More: Ruby is a rescue. She was about 8 months by the time she made her way to me- and probably lived a hard life pre-rescue. When I went to go meet her at her foster home she came running from the back, jumped high over the baby gate and sailed right into my arms. She knew she was home. She’s been my constant companion ever since. She loves to hike and go on early morning runs. As a single female, having her with me on solo excursions makes me feel safe. I am fully confident that she would take on any animal or human that tried to hurt me- but she is also a love bug who loves people, kids and the next adventure. Who rescued who?
