More: Rugby is a ruff n’ tuff rescue pup from Texas, brought to Virginia to find a forever home through the Little Black Dog Rescue Group in Feb. 2021. We were his foster parents and absolutely fell in love with the little guy’s incredibly sweet personality. When things didn’t work out with his adopters, we couldn’t say no to welcoming him back permanently. Rugby is full of love and greets every human he meets with a tail wag, butt wiggle, and all the licks. He is always up for an adventure and a romp around town and he never skips an opportunity to show off his good manners and collection of dapper bow ties. His favorite things are his Kong toys (Wubba bunny is #1), freeze-dried meat treats, and his oversized dog bed. He loves playing fetch in the hallway, zooming back, and diving into his bed. He is excellent at monitoring activity in the neighborhood and stands watch at the front door for hours at a time. Lastly, he enjoys tagging along with his parents for happy hours around town and visiting the local dog parks to kick it with his pup pals.
