More: Named after the firearm, Ruger is filling the void of two previous dogs that died of cancer (Chloe and Buckeye). I’m a veterinarian and practice owner and have dealt with too much cancer throughout my 31 year career. Ruger lives with us in beautiful cabin on a lake and loves pointing out wildlife, birds and aquatic life. Often riding right up on the boat bow.
