More: Rushmore was a Cancer Fighter. A month before his first birthday he was diagnosed with lymphocytic leukemia. He received the best medical care (MedVet Columbus) where he was dubbed the “fan favorite” with all the staff. Rushmore and I were a perfect match, totally in tune with each other. His beautiful coat and eyes were equaled by his lovable personality. He loved to swim, run and play with our 6 year old Aussie, and chase the barn cats. Rushmore left us way too soon, but we were so blessed to care for him and love him deeply.
