More: Sadie was at our local dog pound for so long, she was on the list to be put to sleep. A volunteer couldn’t stand the thought of that happening so she saved Sadie and took her home, although she was unable to keep her. We found Sadie on a pet adoption website and realized the woman who saved her, lived right down the road! We adopted Sadie in 2008 and she’s been by our side ever since.
