More: I rescued from a shelter in 2016 not long after I graduated college. She was covered in scars and BB pellets, was heartworm positive, had several tick borne illnesses, and was riddled with parasites. Despite her rough past she has been the sweetest dog and was certified as a Canine Good Citizen. Sadie was diagnosed with mast cell cancer in 2019 (the mass on her shoulder pictured). She is approaching 2 years post-op and is back to hiking with her family and being a nanny-dog to her new baby brother.
