More: Sage was adopted by our family at about 10 months old. Her previous owner had no idea how much energy or just what a owning a German Shorthair entailed. With prior experience with the breed, we were prepared, but owning this girl has truly shown our family how to have patience. The day we got her, we wondered "why would somebody ever name this girl 'Gracious Rage'?"...we soon found out :-) She is the sweetest, snuggliest girl inside, yet she will hunt down any animal that isn't a dog if you give her the chance.
