More: We rescued Sam when he was 8 months old. He had been kept in a basement kennel and never let outside. He was afraid of everything and everyone. 5 years later he is probably the most recognized dog in our small northern Minnesota community making daily stops at the bait shop, the post office and the golf course on his walks.
