More: Scout is a mellow, affectionate, and goofy male Golden Retriever. He loves to retrieve blankets from couches to snuggle with and shoes from the front hall. The family room looks like a yard sale! He loves to be outside. He watches neighbors and dogs go by and plays with them any chance he gets. He likes to play catch, but not give the ball back. In the Adirondack Mountains, he enjoys chasing ducks and deer, and swimming, or just hanging out on the dock. And he loves walking anywhere, whether it be the neighborhood, beach, or a wooded trail. In October 2020 Scout turned five years old. He still likes his blanket he was sent home with, from his breeder, Pathfinder Goldens. Scout’s mother’s name is Story. Story won ‘Best of Winners’ at the 2015 Westminster Dog Show, eight months before Scout was born, into the “Legacy Litter.” Scout is very much loved by his human family! In 2021 Scout will be certified as a Comfort, Therapy Dog.
