More: Scout is 110# of dude. He is a family pet whose full time job is protecting his people, house, and yard from all intruders with his mighty bork. So far he has successfully routed the mail carrier, Amazon/UPS drivers, meter readers, salespeople, other dogs, cats, possums, rabbits, squirrels, moles, and skunks. Some of these also made a tasty snack. While his hunting nose is always on, the sheep dog half of him guards the perimeter of our property...and then lays down for a nap. Called a "designer dog," he is a perfect blend of coonhound and sheepdog -- noble, confident, bold, active, smart, easy going, and a little goofy. (Photo credit: Paul Brackell)
