More: I want you to know that Shadow passed away of cancer 9 months after this photo was taken. She was 12 years old and worked as a pointing dog for her entire life for grouse and pheasant, mostly down in Grand Lake Stream, ME. She was an old soul even when she was a pup and we miss her dearly every day, especially this past bird season. She loved other dogs and always welcomed new pups into her life with a prance and a woof!
