More: Shadow is a rescue dog. I am a stage 3C colon cancer survivor. Shadow was by my side the entire journey. One day I was laying in bed crying (must have been feeling sorry for myself) and Shadow slowly crept up the bed and gently licked my chin as to tell me it will all be OK. She shadows me everywhere, thus her name. She is obsessed with balls, bubbles, little critters, the hose, and laser lights.
