More: Shelby is so named because she was picked up by animal control in Shelby County, Tennessee. She was rescued from a shelter in Memphis by the Mercer Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. Shelby now lives happily in Connecticut with her best pal, a Long-haired Chihuahua/Rat Terrier X named Maxine.
