More: Rescued @ 3 months of age. Shortly after, Sherman became very weak and lethargic. Our vet determined he had a genetic kidney issue and suggested we put him down. Wife said no....fix him. Special no protein diet, subcutaneous injections of fluid daily for several weeks, medicine, and now you'd never know he had an issue. Healthy, happy and energetic.....and such a smart boy!
