More: Silas was a badly abused Medical foster (failure:) rescued from the Asheville Humane Society. His previous owner broke Silas’s femur then left him starving & crying outdoors, leading a neighbor to call animal control. Despite his horrific childhood & missing leg, this boy wakes up happy & joyful each morning, awaiting his next adventure in the mountains of WNC. When not hiking, Silas enjoys squeaky toys, treats, attempting to be a lapdog & winning employee of the month as my studio dog & official greeter.
