More: Silas was dumped at my front gate 7 yrs ago. Vet estimated age around 10 weeks. He was in pretty rough shape. Vet diagnosed left and right torn ACL’s in back legs. He has been on pain management since and enjoys nothing more than to race around routing out bunnies, birds and other interlopers. I promised my husband we’d only keep him til I found a good home for him. Well 7 yrs later we are no longer looking. He had found his fir-ever home with us. He grew into a beautiful dog and treasured member of the family. We lost our 2 border collie (litter mates) within 6 mos of each other the beginning of 2022. He is now an only child but is doing us all proud. Who’s a good boy? Silas, of course
