More: Skidboot came from a Georgia ranch, went to a local shelter and was transferred to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay at just 2 months old. We were smitten after visiting in the courtyard and took him home that day, five years ago. Since then, he earned his Canine Good Citizen certificate, became a licensed therapy dog for the veterans (Pet Partners) and is now a service dog for a family member. We love our dog with a cowboy name, Skidboot.
