More: Sofie was a rescue. She came to us in a snowstorm in 2009 and passed away of old age during a snowstorm in 2021. She was pregnant when she found us and had 14 wonderful puppies who all lived and brought great joy to their adopted humans. Sofie liked everyone, loved many, and was thoroughly devoted to me. I never understood what I did to deserve her, but I was honored she chose me. I have tried to live up to her expectations.
