More: Sonny has been the joy of a lifetime for our family. Hard to say who rescued who the day we brought him home. He grew up in Pennsylvania. He’s been to Maine twice, the Adirondacks twice, numerous other small trips and all the camping a dog could ever wish for. He will be heading to Yellowstone next year. He’s only ever missed one family vacation. He swam and saw the ocean for the first time along with our kids. He loves all kinds of water. His favorite place is “out the mountain” closest to home. His home is wherever we are.
